Hey mamas, sisters, and friends! I thought I would share with you three awesome baked good recipes that I prepped for our household today, to keep us going for the rest of the week. I’ll be sharing bread, granola bars, and muffins.
As a mom of an eighteen month old and two-and-a-half year old, it’s real nice to have food prepped when I’m able to. These three recipes are staples that I enjoy having on hand for our week-to-week snacks. If you have a toddler, you know bread is something almost none of them will say ‘no’ to! So to start us off, let’s take a look at this bread recipe.
1. Yeast Artisan Bread
This is a new recipe that one of my sweet friends shared with me. She brought a loaf of this bread to book club last month, and it was hands-down delicious. The best part? It’s a same-day yeast bread recipe. From start to finish, I had this bread ready to eat in four hours. Typically, I make a sourdough artisan bread every week (depending on how much bread we’re eating), but having this foolproof yeast bread loaf as a go-to in my recipe staples was a huge win! Here is the recipe my friend shared with me for the world’s easiest yeast recipe-artisan no kneed crusty bread. I need to leave a 5 start review because the title lives up to the recipe. My only comment/adjustment was the order in which I mixed my ingredients. First, I added my water and yeast to a large bowl and let it sit for five minutes. Then, I added in my salt and mixed it around. Lastly, I added the flour to everything and hand-mixed the dough that way. It took me less than five minutes! I followed the rest of the directions as is and here is how my bread turned out. We will eat slices of this with butter for a snack, add avocado on it with an egg for breakfast, or make a grilled cheese with it throughout the week.

2. Granola Bars
Next up, we have an awesome dupe for the Quaker’s chocolate chip granola bars (this recipe is no-bake, but I thought granola bars fit the genre of a ‘baked good’). If you have the time and want a seed oil/preservative-free, delicious snack for your kiddos then this is one you want to save. This granola bar recipe from Christine’s Notebook comes together in about ten to fifteen minutes. If you’re a mom with school-aged kids, then I’d definitely give this one a try for a healthier alternative to most grocery store snack bars to pack in their lunches. To be honest, these granola bars have such a fresh, sweet homemade taste to them that beats any pre-packaged granola bar on the market. (Hopefully) I never have to buy a grocery store granola bar again! My little girls love eating these as an afternoon snack with an apple, or paired with their lunch as a sweet treat. Here’s how they turned out! I only photographed about 1/3 of the batch, so there’s plenty to have on hand for the week.

3. Sourdough Chocolate Chip Muffins
The last baked good staple I want to share with you are these delicious sourdough chocolate chip muffins. These come together same day, and are made with sourdough discard. There is no wait time to let the mixture ferment. I’m pretty sure you can, but I haven’t tried it. The recipe for the muffins come from Little Spoon Farm. I don’t know about you, but we love having a good muffin recipe on hand. We’ll eat these muffins with some chicken sausages for breakfast along with fruit, have it as a snack, or eat them as a dessert after dinner. I love how simple it is to make these come together, and they turn out beautiful every time. I follow this recipe exactly how it is, and sometimes I actually ‘half’ the recipe like I did today. Here’s how my muffins turned out (8 muffins for a half batch, and 16 if you follow the full recipe).

I made all three of these recipes same day. I didn’t start until mid-morning, so I was done after lunch time since the bread had the longest total time. Hopefully, I’ve inspired you to try one or all of these baked good staples in your home this week! It’s definitely rewarding to cook from scratch for your family, and all of recipes will be sure to please them. Be blessed, friends, and talk to you in the next one!
