Middle School Language Arts Resources

In today’s blog, I want to share a plug to some Middle School Language Arts resources. As a former middle school teacher in this subject, I started my own Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) store a few years into teaching. If you’ve never heard of Teachers Pay Teachers, it’s a great website to find free and paid content materials for teaching. I stumbled across TpT in my first year of teaching–freshly out of college and wanting resources after I got hired as seventh grade Language Arts teacher at a charter school. I had quite an interesting start to my teaching experience, which you can read more about here. Needless to say, I was pretty much a one-man show with no cooperating teachers or veteran teachers to support me with lesson plans my first year. I had to create everything on my own. It gave me ideas for starting to sell my own resources on TpT.

My TpT store name is Miss Leigh with Middle School ELA. It’s Miss Leigh, since that’s my middle name for those of you who don’t already know. I was also single at the time I created my account, hence the ‘miss’ lol. At the time of this blog post, I currently have twenty-three products listed in my store. I plan to add more products in the future, but please check out the ones I have on there! I’ve linked some of the general products below for some ideas of what I’ve created. I also have two novel studies with materials that pair with the books.

Thank you for reading and supporting Making Motherhood with a post on ‘all things education’ this time. Comment below if there’s any resources you’d like to see me add on my TpT store in the future or any questions you have about the products. Be blessed, mamas, sisters, and friends. Until next time!

Welcome to Making Motherhood–where I’m all about sharing relatable content as a mom who’s literally putting the pieces of motherhood together as I go. I don’t have it all figured out by any means, but I do have the desire to share relatable content through my own experiences. And in today’s chaotic culture, maybe I can plant some seeds along the way to help you grow in a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a young mama, I’m here to support, play a part in, and befriend you through your own journey of making motherhood.
